SSDL Championship Meet Information
The SSDL National Championship is changing the game — blending elite competition with lights, music, and an electric crowd to create the most exciting swim meet in the country. It’s fast, loud, and unapologetically fun.
In 2026, the six-session four-day format gave every athlete a shot to race under the lights. Thursday kicked off with evening prelims, followed by Friday night finals, and a weekend packed with day prelims and epic night finals. All events were swum in SCY, with athletes competing in the 14 & Under, and 15–21 age groups.
And the finals? Nothing short of legendary. Think lights, smoke machines, hype music, and a crowd that was one of a kind with their energy. The top 15–21 year old athletes faced off in A, B, and C finals, while our 14&under athletes duked it out in A and B finals!
But it doesn’t stop at racing. The SSDL Championship brings a level of energy and entertainment club swimming has never seen. Want to see why it’s called the Most Hype Meet of All Time? Keep scrolling.

MOST HYPE MEET OF ALL TIME
The 2026 SSDL Championship was packed with way more than just fast swimming — it was a top tier full-blown experience.
Our very own SwimStrong Dryland DJ kept the energy sky-high all weekend, backed by a professional lighting and entertainment crew, plus a full media team capturing every electric moment – even post-race interviews, which you can check out in the middle, below! Thanks to Arena, randomly selected Hot Heats gave swimmers the chance to score exclusive gear with a win.
With six sessions spread across four days of competition, the racing was lights out! Multiple USA NAG top times, team records, SSDL records, and Personal Bests to end the season for swimmers, the swimmers created energy that was off the charts!
On Sunday night, we gathered a combination of four swimmers to attempt a USA NAG MIXED MEDLEY RELAY RECORD!!! Everyone from the crowd to coaches stayed to cheer on this attempt, which ended up being 2nd fastest of all time for the 15-18 age group. Many of the coaches on deck soon after dusted off the ole cap and goggles to swim it out in a heat of Coaches Relays!
Athletes & families attending the meet had access to some of Indy’s best local vendors, plus exclusive discounts at top-tier, athlete-friendly restaurants to keep everyone fueled and ready. And the crowd? Even parents got in on the action with t-shirt tosses flying through the stands all weekend long.
SSDL Championship Awards
Just when you thought the energy at the SSDL Championship couldn’t go any higher — we added in awards for what happens after the race.
That’s right — we crowned the best male and female Celly of the Meet for the most legendary post-race celebrations. But that’s not all. We also handed out titles for Hype King, Hype Queen, and Most Hype Team, honoring the athletes and squads who brought the absolute fire all weekend long.
And of course, we tracked individual scores for our High Point Award winners in each age group — because fast swimming still gets the spotlight too!
