Women’s 15-21

200 Yard Backstroke

Super Final Results

  1. Julie Mishler – 1:53.26 – Fishers Area Swimming Tigers

Representing the Fishers Area Swimming Tigers, Julie Mishler won the super final with a new best time of 1:53.26, dropping 4 seconds from her previous best.  Julie would also super final in the 50 free (21.79) and 100 back (51.87), and she swam backstroke on the FAST mixed 400 medley relay that broke the National Age Group record with a split of 52.19.  Julie will be swimming for the Louisville Cardinals this fall.

Sutton Forbis, a member of Bellevue Club Swim Team would take second, dropping over 3 seconds (1:59.59 to a 1:56.55).  Sutton would swim backstroke on Bellevue’s National Age Group record setting relay in the mixed 400 medley, with a best time of 53.63.  Sutton also swam best times in the 100 free (49.88) and 100 fly (54.35).

Coming in third was Allie Joyce of Excel Aquatics, dropping 1.5 seconds from her previous best with a 1:57.97.  While swimming at the SSDL National Championships, Allie would also go best times in the 500 (5:00.75), 100 back (54.85), and 200 fly (2:01.43).

Representing Streamline Aquatics, Jaylee Hager would close out the super final with a time of 2:03.69 (after going a best time of 2:00.25 in prelims).  Coached by Aaron Moran, Jaylee would also swim best times in the 500 (4:53.13), 100 back (55.43 leading off the 400 medley relay), 100 fly (55.26), and 200 fly (2:02.98).

100 Yard Breaststroke

The 100 breaststroke was one of seven super final swims for Bellevue Club Swim Team’s Kamryn Meskill, and she dropped over a second from her previous best time to take home the gold.  In addition to earning seven super final swims, the future UNC Tar Heel would swim butterfly on Bellevue’s NAG setting mixed 400 medley relay with a split of 52.85.  Kamryn would also win the Women’s 15-21 high point award with 157 points. 

In second place, also swimming a best time was Fayth Goodspeed of the Schenectady Sharks.  Fayth would also swim a best time en route to winning the 200 breaststroke super final, dropping over 3 seconds with a 2:14.69 from her previous best of 2:18.02.

Gracyn Kehoe of Bellevue would take 3rd with a time of 1:03.29, and she would also earn super final swims in the 200 free (1:48.05), 500 free (4:53.88), 200 breast (2:17.66), and 200 IM (2:01.64).  Gracyn is committed to swim for the Duke Blue Devils in the fall of 2026.

Claire Francis rounded out the 100 breaststroke super final with a best time of 1:03.30, while representing the Fishers Area Swimming Tigers.    In the 200 breaststroke, Claire dropped nearly six seconds to swim a new best time of 2:20.01.  She’ll be swimming for the James Madison Dukes in the fall.

Heather White was one of three Bellevue swimmers to earn a super final swim in the women’s 200 freestyle.  Heather swam a best time to hold off Jaylee Hager and take home the gold.  A Duke Blue Devil in the fall, she also earned super final swims in the 50 free and 100 free.

Representing Streamline Aquatics, Jaylee finished with a 1:47.73, just a few tenths off her best time of 1:47.59.  She would also earn super final swims in the 100 free, 500 free and 200 backstroke.  Jaylee, alongside her sister Averie, are committed to swim for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish next year.  

The 2nd of three Bellevue swimmers, Gracyn Kehoe picked up another third place finish after also finishing third in the 100 breaststroke.  With her 1:48.05, she was just off her best time of 1:47.89 that she swam in December.  Gracyn will be starting her senior year of high school in the fall, after which she will be joining her Bellevue teammate Heather White at Duke.

Kamryn Meskill was the third Bellevue swimmer to swim in the 200 freestyle super final, dropping two seconds and going a best time in prelims with a 1:48.06.  Kamryn would also go best times in the 100 free (48.66), 100 back (53.12), 100 breast (1:00.34) and 100 fly (52.99).

Representing Eagle Aquatics in Miami, Gio won the 400 IM and dropped nearly 2 seconds from her previous best time.  While swimming at the SSDL National Championships, Gio would go best times in the 200 back (2:00.92), 100 fly (56.56), and the 200 IM (2:02.49).  She will be swimming at Rice University in the fall.

Taking second place was Averie Hager of Streamline Aquatics, who also dropped nearly 2 seconds from her previous best time.  Like her sister Jaylee, Averie had a busy meet earning super final swims and going best times in the 100 fly (53.44) and 200 fly (1:59.03), then also swimming a best time in the 200 IM (2:02.74).  Averie and her sister Jaylee will be swimming for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish next year.

Swimming for the Fishers Area Swimming Tigers, Ayla dropped more than 2 seconds from her previous best to earn third place (4:26.99 from a 4:29.18).  She would also swim a best time in the 100 fly, breaking 58 for the first time with a 57.97.  

Taking fourth in the 400 IM super final with a new best time was Veronica Metz, making the trip to the SSDL National Championships all the way from Florida representing the Wahoos of Wellington.   Veronica would also take second in the 1650 timed finals with a time of 17:03.13.

Syunta Lee dropped nearly 2 seconds en route to winning the 200 Backstroke super final.  Representing West Coast Aquatics, the 200 backstroke was 1 of 4 first place medals he went home with – 400 IM (3:52.26), 500 free (4:27.00), and the 1650 (15:28.87).  

Finishing 2nd in the super final was Alex Nemirovsky from Bellevue Club Swim Team with a best time of 1:47.19, dropping over a second from his previous best.  Alex would also go best times in the 200 free (1:42.89) and 100 free (46.91).

From Streamline Aquatics in Texas, 3rd place was Tristan Clark who broke 1:50 for the first time.  He dropped over a second from his 1:51.12 at Justin Sectionals a few weeks earlier to go his 1:49.99.  Tristan also went best times in the 100 fly (50.71), 100 back (49.82), and 50 free (21.79). 

Closing out the 4 swimmer super final was Zaki Ibrahim from Excel Aquatics, with his 1:53.16 (after going a 1:50.18 at prelims).  Zaki would also go a best time in the 200 free at the SSDL National Championships with a time of 1:41.52.

From Bellevue Club Swim Team, Christian Wong won the 100 breaststroke with his time of 55.59.  On the last day of the SSDL Championship Meet, Christian would swim breaststroke for Bellevue’s NAG record breaking relay with a split of 54.37 in the mixed 400 medley relay.

Jihoon Jung, Dartmouth College commit, won silver in the super final with a new best time of 55.65, a second faster than his previous lifetime best of 56.64.  Just like Christian, Jihoon would swim breaststroke on the Fishers Area Swimming Tigers mixed 400 medley relay (which also broke the National Age Group record) splitting a 54.94.

Out of Nashville, Tennessee, Gavin Fu swam a best time of 56.24 to get 3rd in the 100 breaststroke super final.  Gavin would also go best times in the 200 free (1:41.82) and the 100 back (52.28), and he was 1 of 2 Excel Aquatics swimmers in the 100 breaststroke super final. 

Sam Martin was the second Excel Aquatics swimmer to earn a spot in the 100 breaststroke super final.  In prelims, he went a best time of 56.19, and would also earn a super final swim in the 200 breaststroke.  Sam will be a St Louis Billiken in the fall.

Zach Mendez (Missouri State commit) won the 200 freestyle while representing Club North Swimming.  Zach went a 1:36.10, fresh off his 1:35.15 best time from Columbia Sectionals the previous week.  At the SSDL National Championships, Zach was the 3rd leg of the mixed 400 freestyle relay that broke the National Age Group record.    

Coming in second was Utah commit Finn Winkler with a best time of 1:36.31, dropping over a second from his previous best time of 1:37.78.  Finn also super final’d in the 50 free (20.11), 100 free (43.88), and 200 IM (1:45.69) while representing the Fishers Area Swimming Tigers. 

Syunta Lee took third swimming a best time of 1:38.40, dropping over a second from his previous best time (1:39.57).  Syunta scored 137 points, and came home with 4 gold medals, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medal representing West Coast Aquatics. 

Luke Parsons was the second FAST Tiger in the 200 free super final, and he earned that spot by going a best time in prelims with a 1:40.10.  A future IUPUI Jaguar, Luke also went a best time in the 100 fly with a 49.96, dropping nearly a second from his previous best.

Syunta Lee took home his 2nd of 4 gold medals in the 400 IM, swimming a best time of 3:52.26 (dropping over a second from his previous best).  A member of West Coast Aquatics and coached by Carlene Takaki, Syunta earned 5 super final swims (200 & 400 IM, 200 Back, 500 & 200 Free).

Jaiden Sreenivasan placed second in the 400 IM super final with a new best time of 3:54.06, dropping nearly 2 seconds in the process.  Jaiden also swam best times in the 200 Breast (2:03.38) and 200 Fly (1:51.19).  After representing Wave Aquatics throughout his club career, he will be attending the Naval Academy in the fall.

There were 2 members of the Fishers Area Swimming Tigers in this super final, and Jonny Hines was the first, going a best time of 3:56.36 to get third place.  A future Purdue Boilermaker, Jonny also went best times in the 200 fly (1:51.06) and 200 IM (1:53.68).

Luke Parsons earned a spot in the 400 IM super final with a prelim swim of 4:00.12, and he was the 2nd FAST Tiger alongside Jonny Hines.  After completing his club career for Fishers, Luke will be swimming for IUPUI in the fall.
